Manga and Anime.

Here is where manga chapters and episodes will be.  Each book has 10 chapters, with the exception of the first book which only has 8.  Each DVD has 3 episodes but in Japan at least the first one had only 2... so some the USA versions are mixed up in covers and where the seasons start/end.  If you know what the Japanese covers look like then you'll know the ones that aren't right, they're made their own covers from scratch and even mixed two covers up once that I've noticed.  The US version on DVD ended at 55 volumes.  The anime ended with 167 episodes.  The manga is done now in Japan at well over 500 chapters with 56 volumes. 

In October of 2009, the anime continued in a conclusion to the story where the anime left off for 26 episodes.  This is called Inuyasha the Final Act.  I'm pretty sure Viz, some company, will the get the rights to it and dub here in the US and be released on DVD.

For the US version, the very first 12 volumes were were bigger in size, papes were thinker, and more expensive.  They made them into the and size and price of the ones they sell now, even reprinting the first 12.  InuYasha has been in the reversed version, mirror of the original Japanese, so it's read like US style books.  But I found that starting at volume 38, they changed it to the original version so it's read the Manga should be read.  I don't know if they will reprint all the volumes 37 and below or not.  If they do, I doubt I'll buy them, its a bit of a waste to be honest.  I did buy the new first 12 they reprinted, but mostly because there was a big difference in the covers from the two versions.

It seems I can only have a certain amount on these pages so in instead of listing the chapter names out, I'll just put what chapters are in what volumes.  Like with some manga series, the volumes have have a title but with InuYasha, the volumes don't have title.

Where you can get the US manga and DVDs is just about anywhere that sells that kind of thing.  I buy my manga and anime off websites nowadays.  I usually buy them from DeepDiscount.com, AnimeCastle.com, and Amazon.com.
